Urban Roots Landscaping LLC was founded by Tisha and Dylan, who bring unique professional backgrounds and valuable experience to the business. Tisha serves as a dedicated law enforcement officer within a local police department, while Dylan previously worked as a Special Education teacher in a local school district. Dylan's expertise in landscaping began during high school, where he worked for a lawn care company, and later expanded as he gained hands-on experience with landscape installations and lawn maintenance while employed at a local landscaping company. He further enhanced his skills and knowledge by attending specialized industry seminars. Together, Tisha and Dylan combined their talents and passion to establish Urban Roots Landscaping LLC, delivering professional and reliable services to their community.

Our Advocacy

Our focus is to help beautify Federal Way neighborhoods by providing our clients with lawn care maintenance, property clean-ups and small landscape improvements. At Urban Roots Landscaping, we take pride in serving clients in the community that we grew up in. We are a husband and wife team. Our greatest pride is our two children, who motivate us to set an example of how to be stand-up members of the community. As a new company, founded in 2020, our goals include becoming a prominent and trusted service provider for the community. We also relish the idea of building and expanding our team of professionals who all embody the value of giving back to our community.

Customer Experience

Serving clients in Federal Way, WA and surrounding areas has taught Dylan and Tisha the importance of open and reliable communication as a way to improve customer satisfaction. Tisha states, “We invest in training and technology to run consistent operations that meet our clients needs. We see ourselves, first, as a customer service business, then, as skilled technicians. For example, we’ve accommodated new mothers by avoiding mowing during their childrens’ nap times. It’s the little things that go a long way.”
