We understand price is a major determining factor for who our customers choose to do business with. By being transparent about the cost of our services, we hope to build trust with our clients so they can decide if we are the best fit for them.

Because our prices are standardized, we do not barter on the price. Our pricing is set, to allow us to function as a healthy company that will be around to serve you for many years. We do not mark up our prices as a way to offer discounts to customers who request it. Our philosophy is to present an initial price that is fair, for the value we bring to our clients. Our company continually looks for ways to be more efficient to provide the best price possible.

LAWN MAINTENANCE and CLEANUP PRICING

We standardize our mowing prices and bed maintenance based on square footage. In addition to measuring the square footage of your property's lawn and beds, we make note of other factors that impact price, such as curves in your lawn and changes in elevation.

Our average price to mow a small residential lawn is $50, per week. Bi-weekly (every other week) mowing service is an option as well.

Curves: A square lawn takes much less time to mow than a lawn with many curves and flowerbeds.

Elevation: A lawn with steep hills takes longer than a flat lawn to mow. If hills are too steep for a lawnmower, a weed-eater may be required for those areas.

Maintenance of bushes and hedges varies, depending on the plant variety and maturity.

Property cleanup prices are determined by the labor required to complete the job. If yard waste or junk removal is necessary, we factor in haul-away and dumping costs as well. A detailed description of the work to be completed on the property will be included in your estimate, so you are confident you are receiving everything you want.

Sod Installation

Several factors go into the cost of installing sod. To start, we factor in the material cost by measuring the area of the lawn, giving us an idea of how much topsoil, fertilizer and sod needs to be purchased. The material cost is more predictable than the labor cost, based on our measurements. Depending on the soil conditions, some lawns may require more topsoil to be amended into the dirt to ensure ideal growing conditions.

Estimating Labor Cost

A common theme for determining labor hours is the access that our crew has to your property.

If we can access your yard with all of our tools and machines, it will be cheaper than a project that requires our crew to haul materials and debris with only wheelbarrows.

The condition of the old lawn is also a consideration. A lawn that can be cut, rolled and removed with a sod cutter machine will require less time than a lawn that has deeply rooted weeds, and requires hand picking.

Price to re-sod a 1,000 sq ft lawn: $2000-$3000

Plant Installation

Some of the variables that impact plant installations are:

Plant Selection: This may be stating the obvious, but an exotic plant will be priced higher than a more common plant in the area. If a plant list is requested, we typically suggest plants that are indigenous to the area and readily available at local nurseries.

Access to Property: Easy access equates to lower labor costs.

Plant Maturity: Typically, we include smaller, less mature plants in our initial estimate, to provide affordable options. This also allows you to enjoy watching your plants mature over the years! The plant size will be included in your estimate, so you know exactly what you are purchasing.
